The webinar aims to identify a compelling research agenda based on the Decadal Plan for Semiconductors to discover new approaches to memory and storage. Current data storage technologies have limited longevity and require frequent data migration for long-term data storage. Given current trajectories for data creation as well as data storage demand, experts estimate that the supply of data storage won’t keep up with demand, concluding that new breeds of storage technologies must be created.
