This is the first Mobius Airo CT to be clinically integrated to the Stryker NAV3i for spine surgeries
SHIRLEY, Mass., Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobius Imaging LLC announced today that York, PA based WellSpan Health has selected the Airo CT for its integrated spine program at WellSpan York Hospital. The Airo CT has been clinically integrated with the hospital’s existing Stryker NAV3i Image Guidance System and now provides surgeons with updated CT image sets for image guidance during complex surgeries. As the global leader in true intraoperative mobile CT capability, Mobius Imaging provides an Application Platform Interface (API) that allows the Airo CT to be interfaced with virtually any navigation system, providing up-to-date image sets at any point during the surgical procedure. Pawel Ochalski, MD, regional medical director of WellSpan Health’s spine program, commented: “Our goal was to find a system that integrates with our Stryker NAV3i Image Guidance System, while also seamlessly integrating with our surgeons’ workflows – all while maintaining patient safety. The Airo CT has allowed us to accomplish that goal. We are seeing improved patient safety and outcomes for these complex spinal procedures.” Mobius Imaging CEO Gene Gregerson stated, “Mobius is a proud partner to WellSpan Health, providing new imaging capability for improved patient care.
