MORRISVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Two leading central nervous system (CNS) experts from Worldwide Clinical Trials (www.worldwide.com) will present at the 6th Adriatic Neurology Forum (ANF), being held 3-7 May in Opatija, Croatia.

Tomislav Babic, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President of Neuroscience, who also supported the organization of this year’s ANF sessions, will discuss “Disease Modifying Drug Development in Alzheimer’s Disease” on Friday, 5 May at 9:50 a.m. CEST. Dr. Babic will cover diagnostic and methodological challenges in early and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease.
On Saturday, 6 May at 11:25 a.m. CEST, Miroslav Backonja, M.D., Senior Medical Director of Neuroscience, will make a presentation titled “Central Neuropathic Pain in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO).” Dr. Backonja will review clinical presentations of central neuropathic pain in MS and NMO, and the role of central pain mechanisms.
