NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZIOPHARM Oncology, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZIOP) today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 9,600,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $5.75 per share. The public offering is expected to close on or about February 8, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. In addition, ZIOPHARM Oncology has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,440,000 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments.
